What is the advantage of the Heavy-Duty Tubular Steel Frame?
The Heavy-Duty Tubular Steel Frame has three purposes: 1. Provide overall strength and rigidity to the box for long-term durability on the jobsite. 2. Provide structural integrity required to safely crane lift. 3. Provide additional protection from pry-ins by encasing the entry points.

What is the advantage of a four-point crane lift system?
A four-point crane lift system is much more stable (versus a 2 point system), is more controllable, and provides added safety when lifting with a crane on the jobsite.

What does UL rating mean and why does the Monster Box™ series have it?
Underwriters Laboratories is a trusted global source for product compliance. To get the UL approval, the Monster Box™ lock must pass a rigorous series of tests required by UL-437 standards; ensuring a minimum level of drill resistance and providing the most secure jobsite lock available in the jobsite storage industry.

Is the new Monster Box™ lock compatible with my other Knaack Jobsite boxes?
No. The new Monster Box lock is a high security lock that cannot be keyed to match "Master Lock®" type locks. The Monster Box™ lock is a UL rated lock for drill resistance unlike standard padlocks.

If I have more than one Monster BoxTM, can I get them keyed alike?
Absolutely. Just indicate at time of order and Knaack can key your boxes alike. Knaack distributors have the ability to "re-key" boxes should the need arise (due to employee turnover or convenience issues).

Where do I get extra keys for my Monster BoxTM?
Every Monster Box™ comes with 4 keys for convenience. For security reasons, Monster Box™ keys cannot be duplicated at local hardware stores like most other padlocks. Knaack distributors can order extra keys for the verified owner of the box.

What is the advantage of the Non-Linear Three-Point Latching of the Monster BoxTM?
By having 2 deadbolts on the door ends and the 3rd point hook/latch in the middle, the Monster Box™ offers the ultimate in pry-in security.

Why would a contractor want to have the Power Pass™ Electrical Pass-Thru feature?
The Power Pass™ electrical pass-through grommet allows contractors to charge cordless tools in their box while the lid is closed or locked over night.

What is the purpose of the "Storage Grid" in the piano style Monster Box™?
The "Storage Grid" in the Piano Box is designed to securely organize items such as "Fall Protection" equipment, which OSHA requires to be kept dry and maintained.

Why doesn't the Monster Box™ cabinet have a center post like other jobsite cabinets?
By eliminating the center post, the Monster Box™ cabinet has much more unobstructed space for storing supplies and tools. Additionally, the short/wide stance of the Monster Box™ cabinet allows for safer jobsite applications than most other jobsite cabinets.

Will additional models and sizes be included in the Monster Box™ Series?
Currently the Monster Box ™ line includes the three most popular styles of boxes: Piano Box, Chest, and Cabinet. Additional styles and sizes may be added as demanded by the market.
